Our Story
A Family Farm
Como Pecan Company is a family-owned and operated orchard in Como, Mississippi. The original orchard was planted in 1887. Today it’s one of the largest and oldest working pecan orchards in the state.
For more than a century, the trees have thrived in the fertile soil of Northern Mississippi. It’s a joy for our family to share our pecans with you!
A New Chapter
Farming is in our family’s blood, and the orchard is its heart. Until this year, our family has sold our pecans wholesale, but after much conversation and discernment, we decided we want to work directly with you, our customers!
Many of today’s pecans are sold after being frozen for 1-7 years. We want to change that! Como Pecan Company sells fresh crop pecans. We harvest, package and ship them right to you!
Como Pecan Company pecans are perfect for baking, cooking, or snacking. They’re healthy, after all! We take great care in processing and packaging our pecans to ensure the highest quality.
The Next Generation
We’re three sisters representing the fifth generation of Mississippi farmers. We’re not just representing our family, though. We see ourselves as part of a larger community of small, family-owned farms committed to excellence, service, and stewardship.
